Apple is expected to release the next macOS, called Big Sur, this week. McAfee has not yet released any product updates for the McAfee ePO Agent or EndPoint Security to support macOS 11.x. McAfee has stated that they will release supported products as soon as Apple releases the update for General Availability. Please do not upgrade to macOS 11.7x (Big Sur) until we have made McAfee products available to support it. When ready, we will make the product available to all faculty and staff via Chargerware and will deploy the product to UAH-owned computers via the McAfee ePO server as usual.

- On Mcafee site: Mac users: If you have recently updated your operating system to Big Sur and are now seeing a pop up message from McAfee asking you to continue with your set up, please follow the manual update steps listed under Step 2 found in the article How to keep your McAfee security software for Mac up to date.
