Today, we’re excited to launch a fresh look and feel for the LastPass Mac App! The app now features the same updated look that you’ve been seeing in your browser extension and mobile apps. This experience makes it easier to get started with LastPass on your Mac, and provides a cohesive vault interface for users.

A LastPass MFA or LastPass Identity trial or paid account that has been activated; A Mac running either of the following macOS versions with a 64-bit processor required: macOS Catalina (10.15.2) macOS Big Sur (11.2). LastPass will store your Apple account password so you can sign onto any Apple device or platform. First download and log in to LastPass In Safari, open up Preferences and click Passwords Copy-paste any stored logins to new entries in the LastPass vault.

A Refreshed Vault Experience

We’re aiming to provide the same great experience for all of our users, no matter where they’re using LastPass. With that in mind, we’ve updated the Mac app vault to match the vault you see on your mobile apps, on the web, and in the browser extension.

Improved Onboarding for New Users

For new users starting on the Mac App, they will experience a simple, intuitive walkthrough of how to get started on and use the LastPass Mac App. From adding new sites to creating secure passwords, the Mac App makes it easy to access your digital life so you’ll be more productive, and in control.

We’ll continue to make improvements and edits to our user experience so that you have fast, seamless access to your passwords, notes, and more. This update to the Mac App allows us to apply changes quickly across all of our apps, devices, and browsers.
